I’ve loved radio all my life. When I was eight years old, I decided she would be a radio personality by the time I was “big” or 18, because everyone knows that you’re officially a big kid at 18.

I volunteered at a nonprofit religious station at 14, handing out fliers for upcoming events at local concerts sponsored by the station. From there, I worked the merch tables.

Eventually, I was lending my voice to promotional spots until I went on air as a full-fledged talent.

My  career has taken a few detours now and then, like a 12-year stint in higher education, but over 20 years later, the radio life continues to call me back.
