I'm DJ Thump Da Sound, born Timothy A. Rogers Jr., hailing from St. Louis, MO. Music has always been in my blood, as far back as age five when I lead my first solo. By age seven, I started writing and recording songs while learning to play the keyboard and drums.

I released my first full EP and mixtape, "The Whiptape," and "The Blow-Up Season," on Reverbnation and Datpiff platforms. I have also contributed as a producer and composer for various local artists.

In 2013, I was nominated for and won several Akademia Awards, including Best R&B/Soul Artist of the Year, Best Mixtape, Best Songwriter, and Best Male Artist. Furthermore, I won the 2016 L.A. Kmix Radio Number One Single award, recognized as the Artist Visionary winner in 2020 and the Artist Legacy winner in 2022.
