Deona Freeman is a multifaceted powerhouse in the music industry, holding key roles as CEO, A&R specialist, Program Director, Manager, and Promoter, with an additional responsibility as FleetDJsGa Operations Manager. Her expertise lies in assisting artists and businesses with promotion, coordination, event hosting, and strategic planning. Deona excels in cultivating audience engagement and fostering community connections for brands across all age groups.

Before founding her own company, Word on the Street LLC, Deona honed her skills as an R&B artist, freelance writer, and promoter for the magazine I AM ME. This experience proved instrumental in propelling local artists and businesses in Albany, GA, to broader recognition beyond Southwest Georgia. Deona's journey also includes managing DJ Tremayne Gibson and Ole-E Street Team, where she immersed herself in club business and bartending, solidifying her passion for people and expanding her horizons in Atlanta, GA.

A pivotal turning point occurred when Deona connected with influential figures like Street Sweepa and Lady Vee, leading to her roles as their promoter, head street team member, host, and current manager for YO! ATL RAPS on Comcast Peopletv and the YO! ATL RAPS VIDEO MUSIC AWARDS in Atlanta, GA. Her successful career extends to key positions, such as head A&R for Ruthless Killa Records, Program Director for Under the Radar Radio, and Assistant Program Director for B96theBlock ATL Radio. Deona also served as the brand ambassador for Islandjon Vodka and Revanche.

Beyond her professional endeavors, Deona actively contributes to her community in Albany, GA, participating in initiatives such as Black Lives Matter and collaborating with local businesses and churches to support the homeless. She organized her inaugural industry mixer in Albany, GA, titled "It’s Time to Learn the Music Business," featuring industry luminaries like Vega Don of Wu-Tang Management, Shamika Bottom of Wu-Tang Radio, Bj Bowman of The Southern Playas, Jerry Gipson Jr CEO of Ruthless Killa Records, and Corelone the Don, VP of Global Powerhouse Music and Corelone Records. The mixer provided local artists with valuable insights into the music industry, including guidance on registering their music correctly and understanding the pivotal role of DJs.
