About DJ Dasz
Hailing from the heart of Georgia, DJ DASZ, born and raised, embarked on his captivating journey in the Music and Entertainment industry in the early '90s. As an aspiring artist and producer, he laid the foundation for his career, establishing himself as a versatile and talented individual.
DJ DASZ's foray into the DJ scene unfolded in the early 2000s. While in a fellow producer's studio, he was tasked with adding a scratch to a track for an extra dash of flavor. Little did he know that this moment would become a turning point, igniting his passion for DJing. From that pivotal moment, DJ DASZ was hooked, and in the subsequent years, he seamlessly balanced DJing with producing and nurturing an independent record label.
In 2014, DJ DASZ decided to make DJing and turntablism his primary focus and passion. Over the years, he has achieved remarkable milestones, solidifying his position as a prominent figure in the industry. Notably, DJ DASZ has graced the mainstage of the historic Sweet Auburn Fest as the DJ, a testament to his skill and recognition in the field. He has shared the stage with Mr. Cheeks of The Lost Boys and collaborated with legendary hip-hop artist and radio personality Chubb Rock.
Currently, DJ DASZ wears many hats. Beyond his role as a DJ with mix shows on FM and Internet radio around the country, he co-owns, B96 The Block Georgia-based internet radio station. Additionally, he is the Owner of DMG Entertainment, a brand that provides DJ and lighting services for various events in the city and state.
