About Jay Lieberman

Music has the power to embrace, paint emotions, sooth the heart, and create a smile. That's what drives Jay when behind the microphone, in the studio and in every aspect of his work and personal life. As a little lad growing up in the suburbs of Los Angeles, Jay was surrounded by the music his mother would play on the record player. The Rolling Stones, The Beatles, Classical, and some good ole’ 70’s folk music. This nurtured a love and an ear for a full range of musical genres. And a love for what music makes you feel and how it can change the entire mood of the room in an instant.
That love led into various musical arenas, bubbling to the top of the 80’s music scene, like punk, grunge, progressive and experimental rock. It became incredibly important to Jay to feel and hear the story in the songs, versus just listening. His
musical fuel tanks were filled up by the time Jay went off to college, and later grad school, becoming the resident bass singer in a fraternal barber shop quartet. Jay’s musical range and involvement was on an endless expansion, even after he started his legal and real estate career.
This included live youth sports announcing, public speaking, teaching, hosting a podcast show, hosting The Real Estate Minute show, as well as on-air host of Roadhouse Rock and Retro Radio stations. In his personal life, Jay serves on the board of various charitable groups, chairs various real estate committees, an amateur science fiction writer (no one will publish him), and a full on anything and everything GenX’er.
