About Lyle F

I've always had a passion for broadcasting, even though no one in my family had any experience. But I was determined to pursue my dream.

It all started in high school when I did a two-year technical education course at my local PBS station in Syracuse, New York. There, I learned about different aspects of television, radio, and communications in general. I continued my studies at Onondaga Community College, where I fell in love with radio and television broadcasting even more. Hosting shows on their internet station, Supermix, for two semesters. Shortly after graduating, I landed my dream job with Audilous.

What started as weekends playing classic rock culminated into the number one morning show on the station. I made the switch to Hot Hits in March 2024 and I'm having so much fun playing today's hottest hits (and being hip with my Gen Z'ers). In addition to my on-air duties here, you can always find me updating our massive music library with the latest and greatest music as your program director. You know, it takes a lot to keep this station not only fresh, but on the air 24/7, and my goal is to keep things running smoothly for you, the listener.

If you want to stay up to date or even answer my daily question of the day, like and follow me on TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook @LyleIsOnTheRadio (all one word).  I can't wait to hear from you!
