Mystic Vibes 6.0, the powerhouse DJ duo of Hector C & DJ Lex, has been delivering infectious Caribbean rhythms and high-energy performances for over two decades. Representing Jamaica and St. Lucia, respectively, Hector C and DJ Lex bring a unique blend of island vibes to every event they touch.
The journey began in September 1997 on the campus of the University of Maryland, where Hector C launched Mystic Vibes, a Caribbean radio show on WMUC 88.1 FM. In 2002, DJ Lex joined the show, adding his distinct musical flair. The show ran successfully for six years, building a loyal following.
Due to overwhelming demand from their listenership, The Mystic Vibes Show evolved into Mystic Vibes 6.0, shifting focus to DJing and curating unforgettable Caribbean events. Hector C and DJ Lex became founding members of Hookie Life Entertainment, playing a pivotal role in producing the widely celebrated Hookie Weekend series in Washington, D.C.

With an undeniable passion for Soca, Dancehall, and Reggae, the duo has taken their signature sound worldwide, performing in Jamaica, Trinidad, Bermuda, the Virgin Islands, Canada, and multiple cities across the United States.
