Hi, I'm Pheonix. I was born and raised in Pittsburgh, known as The Steel City. I graduated from Oakland Catholic High School in Pittsburgh and attended Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP). Both provided me with an excellent education and the balance of experiencing different cultures and true friendships, all while instilling in young ladies that achieving their dreams was possible. As a young kid, I loved all genres, but my favorite was R&B. I always knew I wanted to bring the joy of music to others, and there was no better way to do that than through the radio.

Though I faced many setbacks in achieving my dream of being on the radio, I never gave up on my dream or myself. I finally got my first on-air personality position with VYBE95. I'm a graduate of IUP with a bachelor's degree in communications media and a minor in journalism. I'm also a National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ) member and the midday weekend host of The Weekend Vybe on TheVybe. I have been on the radio for three years.
