Steve Lynch reflects about his deceased former Autograph bandmate Randy Rand

Former Autograph lead guitarist Steve Lynch has just paid tribute to his ex-bandmate / bassist Randy Rand who sadly passed away reportedly at the age of 62 back in late April 2022. Lynch and Rand played in Autograph together from 1983 to 1989 and again from 2013 until the time that Lynch elected to leave the group in July 2019.

The following message was posted on Lynch‘s Facebook page earlier today:

“Even though it’s been two years since your departure, I feel, as we all do, you are still here. This is because of what you shared with us—your smile, your laughter, your good nature, your humor, your talent, your music, and your heart, which still lingers within us. You left an everlasting impression, never to be forgotten.

We started a musical venture with the boys in Autograph over 40 years ago, and what we created together still rings in peoples ears and hearts to this day.

For Regina, her heart is eternally grateful you came into her life. Her love shall never wane, for she is you, and you are her. Your hearts are forever entwined. Many never know what true love is… but thankfully, you found it with each other.

Thank you for being a part of all our lives. Peace in heaven bro. “
