The Game Explains Why He Dissed Rick Ross In Drake-Kendrick Lamar Beef

The Game Explains Why He Dissed Rick Ross In Drake-Kendrick Lamar Beef

The Game has offered up his reasoning for taking a shot at Rick Ross in the midst of the DrakeKendrick Lamar beef.

The Compton rapper called into The Joe Budden Podcast on Thursday (May 16) to offer some insight into his thinking regarding his diss track, “Freeway’s Revenge.”

“A n-gga sitting around just trolling, n-gga, keep that same energy, n-gga,” The Game began. “Bump heads with a n-gga that really do this shit.”

Budden asked the rapper if he expected Ross to respond, to which he replied: “Bro, he did respond with a fucking cereal bowl, n-gga…We know you fucking eat. We see you. I don’t think it’s wise… and if he does, it’s done. The rap n-ggas ain’t saying what the people in the comments are saying. The rap n-ggas know what I do.”

Budden then asked what would happen if Ross smoked him, and Game said: “A rare iguana in a motherfucking coy pond not gonna do it here. You gotta rap. All that luxury shit not gonna do it here.”

The Game initially took shots at Rick Ross for continually slandering Drake in his feud with Kendrick Lamar and co.

The Compton rapper took to his Instagram Stories earlier in May to offer some pointed commentary that many interpreted to be aimed at Rozay.

“It’s quiet today Wingstop must be closed on Monday’s [sic],” he wrote, referencing the restaurant chain that has several locations owned by the MMG mogul.

In a follow-up Story, The Game appeared to taunt Ross over his weight, writing: “It be the fat n-ggas with the skinny legs always running they mouth.”

The “My Life” continued his barrage of the Florida rapper with the fiery aforementioned diss track “Freeway’s Revenge.”

Though the two worked together in the past, most notably on “Ali Bomaye” from The Game’s Jesus Piece album, they are currently not on good terms. “Freeway’s Revenge” found The Game throwing some flagrant shots at the MMG mogul regarding his alleged sexual kinks, weight and health issues, and past stint as a correctional officer.

“You 12 lemon pepper wings from a heart attack/ Akademiks, give this n-gga an Ozempic starter pack,” he raps, before referencing the aforementioned Drizzy-K. Dot beef: “This ain’t the Kendrick beef, my Drac’ [Drake] sings songs/ Shots rings out, the neighbor better have his Ring on.”
