Teddi Mellencamp recently shared an update about her cancer battle, revealing that doctors discovered multiple brain tumors during a recent scan. Additionally, she has two lung tumors, which are metastases from her melanoma diagnosed in 2022.
Despite the concerning findings, the former “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star remains optimistic. In a post on Instagram, she mentioned that her doctors are hopeful that immunotherapy will effectively treat the remaining tumors. Her treatment is set to begin on Tuesday.
Teddi expressed positivity about overcoming her illness and humorously noted her gratitude for a new blonde wig to cover bald spots. She also remarked on her ability to remember all of Angelina Jolie’s children’s names.
Regarding her podcast, “Two Ts In A Pod,” Teddi mentioned she’s unsure about when she will return. She plans to follow the advice of her doctors and bosses concerning her health and recovery.
Teddi recently underwent surgeries to remove four brain tumors and was released from the hospital two days before her latest update. She has been supported by family, friends, and fans throughout her journey, even receiving a visit from her estranged husband, Edwin Arroyave, before her first surgery. Despite their ongoing divorce, there appears to be a strong support system around her.
