Celebrate St. Patricks Day in Las Vegas: From Shrek Raves to Traditional Parades

The Shrek St. Paddy’s Day Rave at the Brooklyn Bowl in Las Vegas is a unique way to kick off the holiday weekend, combining an ogre-themed dance party with the festive spirit of St. Patrick’s Day. Attendees are encouraged to dress as characters from the animated film, creating a lively and colorful start to the celebrations.

For those seeking a more traditional experience, the Celtic Feis at New York-New York promises a full day of entertainment on the Strip. Starting at 10 a.m. Saturday, a bagpipe-led parade will wind through the property, culminating in a party featuring Irish bands, photo opportunities, and festive drinks at Nine Fine Irishmen pub.

Downtown, the Fremont Street Experience hosts a St. Paddy’s Day Bash that extends the festivities from Saturday through Monday. The event features performances by Irish-leaning bands and local favorites under a canopy of lights, with each day offering a different lineup of entertainment.

Family-friendly activities are available at Henderson’s St. Patrick’s Day Festival and Parade on Water Street. The three-day event includes a parade, amusement rides, games, and performances by Celtic headliners. Sunday features a car show, adding a classic touch to the festivities.

For a more intimate celebration, the Composer’s Room offers a St. Patrick’s Day event on Monday with singer-songwriter Jimmi O’Ellis. The evening includes Irish-inspired music and traditional food and drink specials, providing a cozy setting for the holiday.

Finally, the Shenanigans event at the Ahern Hotel offers a casual atmosphere with a doubles beer pong tournament and $18 pitchers of green beer. This free party includes Irish eats and cocktails, ensuring everyone has a good time, regardless of their beer pong skills.

Each of these events highlights a different aspect of St. Patrick’s Day in Las Vegas, from large-scale parties to intimate gatherings, ensuring there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
