Billy Joel’s upcoming tour has been postponed for four months due to an unspecified medical condition, according to a press release. The singer-songwriter will undergo surgery and physical therapy during this time.
Most of the affected concerts have been rescheduled, except for a show in Milwaukee. The rescheduled performances include both U.S. and U.K. dates.
“While I regret postponing any shows, my health must come first,” Joel said in a statement. “I look forward to getting back on stage and sharing the joy of live music with our amazing fans. Thank you for your understanding.”
Tickets previously purchased will remain valid for the new dates. A list of the rescheduled shows is provided below.
This announcement comes a few weeks after Joel fell onstage during a concert in Montville, Connecticut, on Feb. 22. Despite the fall, he continued performing, though some fans expressed concern.
Earlier in January, Joel postponed and rescheduled a concert in Florida, citing another unspecified medical procedure.
