Open Season Sportsman’s Expo
The Ohio Expo Center’s Bricker Building will host the Open Season Sportsman’s Expo from March 14-16. This event caters to outdoor enthusiasts, featuring the latest in hunting, fishing, and outdoor gear. Attendees can participate in seminars, view demonstrations, and explore various exhibits. Hours are Friday from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m., Saturday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Columbus Cultural Youth Orchestra Performance
As part of Women’s History Month celebrations, the Columbus Cultural Youth Orchestra will perform a “Symphony of Culture” concert honoring women of R&B. The performance is scheduled for Sunday, March 16, at 2 p.m. at the Columbus Museum of Art. Admission to the museum is free on Sundays, offering an excellent opportunity to enjoy both the concert and the museum’s exhibits.
Columbus Blue Jackets Home Game
Hockey fans can catch the Columbus Blue Jackets in action as they play a home game at Nationwide Arena. The team will face off against their opponents on Saturday, March 15, with the game starting at 7 p.m. Tickets are available through the team’s official website and at the arena box office.
Columbus Crew Soccer Match
Soccer enthusiasts can support the Columbus Crew as they take on their rivals at Lower.com Field. The match is set for Sunday, March 16, with kickoff at 4 p.m. Fans are encouraged to arrive early to enjoy pre-game festivities and secure seating.
Women’s History Month Events
Throughout March, various events are being held in Columbus to celebrate Women’s History Month. These include a movie series at Gateway Film Center, a community discussion on Black artists and activists at the Lincoln Theatre, and educational programs at the Ohio Statehouse highlighting local women’s contributions. Additionally, an all-women barbershop quartet, Four Harmony’s Sake, will perform at the Westerville Public Library.
