Huntington Park in Columbus, opened in 2009 with a seating capacity of 10,100, has been ranked No. 8 among the 10 best minor league ballparks in the United States, according to the USA TODAY 10Best Readers’ Choice Awards.
The top three ballparks were Modern Woodmen Park in Davenport, Iowa; Polar Park in Worcester, Massachusetts; and Sahlen Field in Buffalo, New York.
Located in the Arena District, Huntington Park is a 200,000-square-foot facility featuring two full bars, rooftop and right field terraces, and lawn and picnic areas. It is the home field for the Columbus Clippers, the Triple-A affiliate of the Cleveland Guardians since 2009. Previously, the Clippers were affiliated with the New York Yankees.
The Clippers’ 2025 season begins March 28 with an away game against the Toledo Mudhens. Columbus’ home opener is set for April 1, when the Clippers host the St. Paul Saints. This game will also mark the first Dime-A-Dog Night of the season, a popular promotion among fans.
Huntington Park has also hosted events such as Savannah Bananas baseball games, Ohio State football alumni charity fundraisers, Ohio High School state tournaments, and various action sport showcases.
