The singer took to X on Monday (Oct. 28) to thank fans for their overwhelming support of her 2023 memoir, *The Woman in Me*, and to encourage anyone who hasn’t read it yet to grab a copy. “Wow wow wow … thank you all for your support over the past year !!! It means the world to me !!!” Spears wrote, sharing a picture of the book’s cover and noting, “One year of *The Woman in Me*…Over 3 million copies sold worldwide!”
If you haven’t had a chance to read it, the memoir delves into Spears’ challenging childhood, her journey as a teen superstar, and the highs and lows of her relationship with Justin Timberlake. Although she has sworn off returning to the music industry, Spears continues to keep fans updated on her life. This week, she posted from her latest vacation in Turks & Caicos, sharing her signature dance videos. One clip features her dancing in white lingerie to Noah Cyrus’ “I Got So High That I Saw Jesus,” while another shows her moving to Janet Jackson’s “Anytime, Anyplace” in black lingerie, expressing how much she loves her favorite getaway. “There’s something about this exotic place… No matter how many times I come here, it feels like the first time !!!” she wrote. “The way Mother Nature speaks to me !!! Alone !!! Meditation and prayer speaks volumes !!! A video I took outside had birds singing, and the song was so loud !!! Ok, maybe I just found my soul here !!!”
Spears also reflected on past visits to the island with an ex (unnamed), admitting it wasn’t always a peaceful experience. “I’m honestly not ashamed to say this, but whenever me and my ex would come here, we fought… Not one time did I sleep in bed with him !!!” she recalled, sharing that she would sleep outside by the fountain. “I wanted to whisper the secrets of the universe… I’ve stayed inside a lot this trip because it’s insanely hot !!! But I think I might just sleep in the baby courtyard tonight.”
