Grammy Night to Shine Bright With Beyoncé Leading Historic Nomination Wave

The 67th annual Grammy Awards, scheduled for February 2, promise to be an unforgettable event. Beyoncé, who made history with her country album “Cowboy Carter,” leads with 11 nominations, making her the most-nominated artist in Grammys history. Rising stars Sabrina Carpenter, Chappell Roan, and Charli XCX, who gained significant attention this year, have each received their first nominations for Album of the Year. They will compete for this prestigious award alongside Taylor Swift, Billie Eilish, and Beyoncé. Andre 3000 and Jacob Collier also join the category, which might surprise some observers. Carpenter and Roan have also been nominated for Record of the Year, Song of the Year, and Best New Artist. They are the only artists to be nominated across all of the “Big Four” categories. Male artists also had notable years; country newcomer Shaboozey received five nominations, including Best New Artist and Song of the Year for his hit “A Bar Song (Tipsy).” As anticipated, Kendrick Lamar’s successful year continues with his track “Not Like Us,” a diss-track aimed at Drake, being nominated for Song of the Year and Record of the Year. He has received seven nominations and will move from the Grammys to the Super Bowl as next year’s headliner. Lamar, Charli XCX, Post Malone, and Billie Eilish each have seven nominations, trailing Beyoncé. Taylor Swift has six. Below are some of the notable nominations.
