Lainey Wilson Shines at Thanksgiving Halftime Show with Unforgettable Performance

On Thanksgiving Day, Lainey Wilson captivated audiences at the AT&T Stadium with a memorable halftime show during the Dallas Cowboys game against the New York Giants. Her dynamic performance featured a medley of popular songs such as “Heart Like A Truck,” “Hang Tight Honey,” “4x4xU,” and “Wildflowers and Wild Horses,” with the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders adding to the spectacle by dancing both on the field and the stage.

During the performance, fans were treated to a special surprise as Jelly Roll, a close friend and collaborator of Wilson, joined her on stage to perform their hit song, “Save Me.”

Wilson, who holds the title of CMA Female Vocalist of the Year, was dressed in a custom-made all-white outfit embellished with silver rhinestones, paired with a white cowboy hat and boots, for the occasion.

This halftime show marked the beginning of the Salvation Army’s 134th Red Kettle Campaign, which aims to support those in need through various programs. Over the years, numerous country artists, including Luke Combs, Dolly Parton, Kane Brown, and Luke Bryan, have participated in this event to help launch the holiday giving season by performing at the annual Dallas Cowboys Thanksgiving Day game.

Since the collaboration between The Salvation Army and the Cowboys began in 1997, the campaign has successfully raised over $3 billion. In 2023 alone, the funds collected helped provide food, shelter, holiday gifts, and emergency financial aid to more than 27 million individuals.

Wilson expressed her honor in being part of the Red Kettle Kickoff tradition, noting the importance of the holiday season as a time for giving back and making a difference in people’s lives.

This standout performance came just a week after her significant achievements at the 58th Annual CMA Awards, where Wilson co-hosted alongside Luke Bryan and Peyton Manning, performed her latest single “4x4xU,” and secured two prestigious awards: Female Vocalist of the Year for the third year running and Music Video of the Year for “Wildflowers and Wild Horses.”

As the year draws to a close, Wilson is set to perform at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on December 14.
