Physical release of Ghost’s “Rite Here Rite Now” delayed

If you wanted to get the Ghost fan in your life a physical copy of their feature length movie, “Rite Here Rite Now”, you’re going to have to wait a little longer to get it.

The physical release of the Swedish metal band’s debut film has been delayed by a week due to production issues.

The band spoke on the issue, posting:

“[MESSAGE FROM THE CLERGY]

We wish to inform you that delayed gratification is often more satisying for those with the personal fortitude to accept it. Unfortunately, a minor package assembly issue on the RITE HERE RITE NOW Blu-Ray/4K/DVD was detected at the plant and promptly addressed. However, it did cause a short delay in production that now requires a release date one week later than we had initially planned for.

So RITE HERE RITE NOW will officially and fittingly be released on Friday, the 13th of December. One additional week is a short speed bump on the road to eternal film salvation.”

The physical copies of the film will have extras for fans to enjoy, such as a Q&A with Ghost frontman Tobias Forge and the director of the film’s live concert Jim Parsons, the video for “The Future Is A Foreign Land”, and 28 chapters of the band’s webisode series.

The film made it’s debut in theaters June of this year and grossed over $5 million worldwide.
