Falling In Reverse have announced that the UK leg of their “Popular MonsTour II: World Domination” tour is canceled due to frontman Ronnie Radke’s visa denial.
Radke, who is a convicted felon, was denied entry due to the current UK rule to refuse visas to applicants that have served more than 12 months in prison.
The band made an update about the tour cancelation, writing:
“We regret to announce that the home office has denied Ronnie’s visa application for the remaining 2024 UK shows. (4 Dec-16 Dec)
The UK is currently refusing entry to visa applicants who served more than 12 months prison time, as Ronnie did in 2008.
Therefore, we will not be able to come to the UK this month to perform the shows we were greatly looking forward to.
We will be postponing the shows to next year while we continue to work thru this issue legally to obtain the necessary visa.
We will keep you posted as we know more.
For anyone who cannot attend the new dates, refunds are available at point of purchase.
Thanks everyone for your support and we hope to see you next year.”
The Australian leg of the tour will be continuing as scheduled.
The felony charge against Ronnie Radke came from the singer’s involvement in a 2006 altercation that lead to the death of his friend, 18 year old Michael Cook. Radke was indicted on charges related to owning brass knuckles, which he brought to the altercation.
In 2008, Ronnie Radke violated his probation which lead him to being sentenced to two and a half years in prison and to being kicked out of the band Escape the Fate.
