Rosé is set to take the stage on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon as a solo artist for the first time on Wednesday (Dec. 11). The BLACKPINK member previously appeared on the show in 2021 with a pre-taped performance of “On the Ground” during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The appearance follows the release of her solo debut album, Rosie, a 12-track project featuring the hit single “APT.” with Bruno Mars, which has topped the Billboard Global 200 chart for six consecutive weeks, and “Number One Girl.” Recently, she unveiled a third single from the album, “toxic till the end,” accompanied by a Ramez Silyan-directed music video co-starring Evan Mock.
“I have poured my blood and tears into this album,” Rosé shared on Instagram in October while announcing the project. “I cannot wait for you to listen to this little journal of mine. Rosie is the name I allow my friends and family to call me. With this album, I hope you all feel that much closer to me.”
Rosé’s solo venture comes two years after BLACKPINK’s last album, Born Pink, debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200. Following a year of touring, the group’s members have turned their focus to individual projects, with a reunion expected in 2025.
The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, featuring Rosé, airs Wednesday on NBC.
