Swedish House Mafia & Alicia Keys – Finally (Eran Hersh & Shooma Remix)
Swedish House Mafia and Alicia Keys have teamed up for the first time on a new single, “Finally.” This track reimagines Kings Of Tomorrow’s iconic 2000 house anthem, weaving together uplifting synths with Alicia Keys’ soulful vocals. Initially crafted about two years ago, this rendition quickly became a highlight of Swedish House Mafia’s live performances, fueling excitement ahead of its release.
Eran Hersh’s Inspiration:
“I’ve admired Swedish House Mafia and Alicia Keys for years,” Eran explains. Seeing them perform Finally sparked a vision to reimagine it with an Afro-house depth. While in Budapest, he connected with Shooma, and together they crafted a version that resonated with audiences. “When Swedish House Mafia reached out, excited to release it, it felt like a milestone,” Eran says, reflecting on the journey. “With this track and the launch of Vibora Records, I’m thrilled to see these visions come together.”
Shooma’s Perspective:
Having admired Finally since early in his career, Shooma felt compelled to bring something fresh to this track. The duo produced their remix in a Budapest studio, and after testing it live, they received great feedback—including from Swedish House Mafia themselves. Now, after a few refinements, they’re thrilled to release it.
