In 2025, the Bonnaroo festival is set to unveil an innovative 360° stage named Infinity, as reported by sources familiar with the event. Although details are limited, marketing materials shared on social media by Festive Owl describe the stage as “the world’s largest and most immersive 360° live music experience.” When followers drew comparisons to Lost Lands’ “Crater” production, a festival insider clarified that Infinity represents a “completely new concept for a U.S. festival.” The stage will be located in Bonnaroo’s main performance area, Centeroo.
The experience promises more than just close proximity to performers; the audio will be mixed and distributed using advanced software from Polygon Live, a leading UK-based music tech company. This setup aims to create a dynamic environment where attendees can feel the music from all directions. The Infinity Stage will also be larger than the six other structures within Centeroo, which hosts over 150 acts throughout the festival. Festive Owl noted that the structure would not only feature external speakers but also those overhead and surrounding the audience, providing a fully immersive experience. The audio from performances will be spatially mixed using custom software from Polygon Live, enhancing the overall experience beyond just being surrounded by speakers.
