Kate Middleton Announces She Is In Remission From Cancer

Princess Catherine of Britain announced on Tuesday that she is in remission after completing chemotherapy for cancer, which she disclosed nearly a year ago. The 43-year-old princess expressed relief in a post on X, stating her focus on recovery and her anticipation of a fulfilling year ahead. She thanked everyone for their support and expressed gratitude to The Royal Marsden Hospital for their care during the past year.

Catherine also shared that she will serve as Joint Patron of The Royal Marsden, supporting research, clinical excellence, and the wellbeing of patients and families affected by cancer. The announcement follows her diagnosis in March, when Buckingham Palace stated she was receiving treatment after a planned abdominal surgery in January. She had revealed plans to undergo preventative chemotherapy based on her doctors’ advice.

During her treatment, Catherine continued to make public appearances with her children. She hosted a Christmas carol service at Westminster Abbey with her sons, Prince George and Prince Louis, and attended Wimbledon with her daughter, Charlotte.
