P.O.D. and A.N.I.M.A.L. are teaming up!
P.O.D has released a retake of their hit “I Wont Back Down”, collaborating with Andres Gimenez of A.N.I.M.A.L. for the new version.
P.O.D. guitarist Marcos Curiel said of the rerelease:
“As we journey through life, certain songs emerge that resonate deeply with our generation and those to come. ‘I Wont Back Down’ is one of those gems. It’s heartfelt in every sense of the word and anthemic to the core. Enjoy it, turn it up, sing along and always remember. Never bow down.”
Gimenez also commeted on the collaboration, stating:
“I’m very happy to have recieved this wonderful invitation about making a new English/Spanish version. It’s really fantastic. P.O.D. and A.N.I.M.A.L. together are pure brotherhood. I have a truthful respect, admiration and appreciation for P.O.D.”
The original version of P.O.D.’s song came from the band’s 2024 album, “Veritas”
