Serena Williams Says She Doesn’t ‘Have Time to Be Petty’ Following Halftime Show Cameo

After her appearance during Kendrick Lamar’s performance, some speculated she was taking a jab at her former flame, Drake. In response, Ohanian shared a clip of the show on social media along with a comment from Jason Whitlock suggesting Williams should apologize for her participation.

Williams took to Twitter to express her feelings, emphasizing her commitment to her family and busy schedule. She stated, “That there my baby daddy and husband. Always got my back. I Love you.” She explained her absence from social media by mentioning her investments and business ventures, dismissing any notions of pettiness. Williams highlighted her achievements, including 23 Grand Slam titles and four Olympic gold medals, to underline her focus on positivity.

She also shared behind-the-scenes moments from her Super Bowl rehearsal, revealing that Kendrick Lamar and his team had long wanted to collaborate.
