Spiritbox single “Crystal Roses” pulled from streaming services after accidental early release

Spiritbox fans thought they were getting a surprise new single today, but it turns out the band was also surprised by the release of their song “Crystal Roses”.

The metalcore band’s single surfaced on online streaming services today, only a few days before the release of their sophmore album, “Tsunami Sea”.

According to Spiritbox frontman Courtney Laplante, the band had not approved the release of “Crystal Roses” posting about the error on her social media.

She wrote:

“I dont normally like to air out behind the scenes things like this, but we did not approve putting out another single today. None of us were aware this was happening. I am extremely disappointed and only found out about it late last night, by chance. Trying to take it down asap.”

Spiritbox has successfully removed “Crystal Roses” from Spotify and other digital platforms.

“Tsunami Sea” is set for release on March 7th.
