Frontier Airlines is set to begin a new route connecting Las Vegas to Paine Field near Everett, Washington, starting June 2. This new service will operate three times a week—on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays—with flights departing from Harry Reid International Airport at 10:26 a.m. and returning from Paine Field at 1:59 p.m. The flight duration is approximately two and a half hours.
This expansion into Paine Field includes additional nonstop routes to Phoenix and Denver. Frontier is introducing these flights with a promotional fare of $29 for a limited number of one-way tickets.
Frontier’s entry into this route positions it against Alaska Airlines, which currently offers 11 weekly round trips between Las Vegas and Paine Field. This route is Alaska’s second busiest from Paine Field, following its Phoenix service, with over 44,000 passengers carried between August 2023 and September 2024.
Paine Field serves as an alternative to Seattle-Tacoma International Airport, located about 40 miles away, and was formerly used by Boeing for aircraft flights. Currently, five airlines, including Frontier, operate 110 weekly nonstop round trips between Reid International and Sea-Tac.
