A Night of Musical Surprises Riley Green and Megan Moroneys Unforgettable Duet

Riley Green recently invited Megan Moroney to perform a surprise duet onstage, taking over Ella Langley’s role in the title track of his newly released album, Don’t Mind If I Do. This unexpected musical moment happened on November 14 at the Hard Rock Live at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood, FL, during Audacy’s Stars and Strings country concert.

Fans who attended the concert captured the special collaboration and shared it widely on social media. The videos reveal Green and Moroney seated on barstools, with Green playing his guitar as they both sing. The audience responded enthusiastically as Green began with the first verse and chorus of the poignant ballad. Moroney then joined in on the second verse, harmonizing beautifully with Green as they sang about the heartache of moving on.

The performance reached an emotional peak during the chorus, where they expressed the struggle of unrequited love. Green’s gentle guitar playing and storytelling, combined with Moroney’s unique style, provided a memorable rendition of the song. Following the performance, they shared a heartfelt embrace before Moroney left the stage, allowing Green to continue with his set.

The event, hosted by Discover and KISS Country 99.9 (WKIS-FM), was a sellout and included performances from other country artists like Jordan Davis, Parker McCollum, and Bailey Zimmerman. Although Nate Smith was unable to perform due to illness, the concert succeeded in supporting Folds of Honor, a charity that grants scholarships to families of fallen or disabled military personnel and first responders.

Don’t Mind If I Do is the title track of Riley Green’s third studio album, released on his birthday, October 18. The album comprises 18 tracks that reflect Green’s rural Alabama upbringing and personal experiences. It includes popular songs like “Jesus Saves,” “Worst Way,” “Change My Mind,” and “Rather Be.”

Green collaborated with producer Dann Huff and executive producers Scott Borchetta and Jimmy Harnen to bring this collection to fruition. His duet with Ella Langley, “You Look Like You Love Me,” has been gaining significant praise, and they will embark on Green’s Damn Country Music Tour in March 2025. Langley will join as a special guest alongside other emerging artists, with the tour spanning Canada and the U.S. through next August.

Meanwhile, Megan Moroney has just released her album, Am I Okay?, and will soon begin her own headlining tour of the same name starting in March.
