Boiler Room Revives with New Single Changes and Live Video Release

Presented by Freeman Promotions

BOILER ROOM, the hard-hitting former Roadrunner and Tommy Boy / Warner Brothers recording artists, continue their powerful comeback with a brand-new single, “Changes.” The track is accompanied by a new music video, shot live by Shottie at Dingbatz in Clifton, NJ.

“Changes” has a unique history, having originated from an earlier collaboration between Chris Lino and Mike Orlando in their band, Out of Body. While that project released a promising 5-song demo before amicably parting ways, the two have reunited to revitalize their original creation through BOILER ROOM’s distinctive sound. About the new imagining of the song, Lino says, “Change is inevitable. Redefine yourself.”

Bassist Pete Rizzi comments:

“‘Changes’ has that old-school early 2000s feel with modern production; it delivers a big punch with great hooks and a thick sound. And it goes over incredibly live!”

About the track, guitarist Nick Seditious adds:
“‘Changes’ is such a powerful tune. It grabs you by the shirt and doesn’t let you go until it’s over!”

Known for their electrifying live shows and powerful sound, BOILER ROOM has reignited the energy and intensity that made them a force on stage in the late ’90s and early 2000s. “Changes” is now available on all major streaming platforms, with a high-octane, live video that captures BOILER ROOM’s raw, revitalized spirit. Jason Bittner (Shadows Fall, Category 7, Overkill) played the drums on the track, and it was produced, mixed, engineered, and mastered by Mike Orlando (Category 7, Adrenaline Mob) at Sonic Stomp Studios in New York City.

In addition to today’s single, after a 25-year absence from their home turf, BOILER ROOM will mark their triumphant return to New York City with an intimate performance at the iconic Arlene’s Grocery on February 22nd.

About BOILER ROOM:

Originally formed in 1996 in New York City, BOILER ROOM quickly made waves with their unique sound: a blend of intense riffs and emotionally driven lyrics. The addition of guitarist Rob Caggiano (Anthrax, Volbeat) in 1998 solidified their lineup, and soon they were opening for major acts like Type O Negative, Life of Agony, and Static-X. Their debut album, ‘Can’t Breathe’, released in 2000 under Tommy Boy / Warner Brothers, placed them at the heart of the nu-metal scene, earning them a dedicated following and opportunities to tour with heavyweights like Disturbed, Mudvayne, and Kittie across the U.S. and Europe. Now, after a long-awaited return, BOILER ROOM is back and ready to make its mark once again. Check BOILER ROOM out on Spotify HERE.
