BulletBoys have announced some tour dates for 2025, and there have been changes in their lineup. Lonnie Vencent is back on bass guitar, replacing Brad Lang, and guitarist Jake Faun, who has worked with David Lee Roth and Winger, is reportedly replacing Ira Black. A message was shared on BulletBoys’ Facebook page:
“BREAKING! BULLETBOYS NEWS! 2025 Touring Dates! We are thrilled about next year’s dates and having Lonnie Vencent back with us! Welcome back, my brother! New beginnings, new dates, new album, new music, new management! Thank you to all our family, friends, and fans everywhere! We are embarking on a magical new venture!”
In a September 2023 interview with Canvas Rebel, Jake Faun discussed his career, stating: “I’m a musician, I play guitar for people, which we call being a session musician. It has its ups and downs; one moment you might be touring arenas, the next you’re at home waiting for the phone to ring. As long as you stay proactive, your next gig is always around the corner. I started playing guitar at 12 and fell in love with it. Fast forward to today, and I’ve worked with some of the biggest artists in the world. Less than a year after arriving in Los Angeles in March 2019, I had the chance to perform with David Lee Roth. Unfortunately, that tour was cut short after six weeks due to COVID-19. Since then, I’ve toured with various bands and artists across genres, from hard rock and metal with Winger to country and soul with Willie Jones. I’ve also recorded for artists like Selena Gomez, Alec Benjamin, and DNCE. Beyond the technical aspects, much of my work involves personal and professional qualities that make people want to collaborate with you. The creative world can be tricky, as it often doesn’t conform to the 9-to-5 norms, so my job is as much about understanding how to work with different personalities as it is about my skills as a guitarist.”
