The ornate rotunda near Caesars Palace on the Las Vegas Strip, once bustling with activity, now stands unused. Originally serving as the entrance to a people mover system that transported visitors from the Strip into the resort, the structure lost its purpose when the system was dismantled to make way for the Omnia Nightclub in 2014. According to Caesars Entertainment Regional President Sean McBurney, the rotunda is set to be removed, likely within the year. Despite its Romanesque architectural charm, the rotunda currently serves no functional role, leading to plans for its eventual demolition.
