Columbus Rises to Sixth in Nationwide Renter Demand Rankings

Columbus ranked among the top American cities in renter demand last month, a new report shows.

RentCafe.com, a national apartment search website, released its March activity report identifying cities most popular with renters.

The report analyzed the 150 largest U.S. cities based on page views, favorites, saved searches, and availability rates.

Columbus was the sixth most popular city for renters, jumping four spots from February. Cincinnati ranked No. 2, while Cleveland came in at No. 15.

Washington, D.C., topped the list for the fifth consecutive month.

The top 10 also included Chicago at No. 3, Kansas City, Missouri, at No. 4, Atlanta at No. 5, Minneapolis at No. 7, Overland Park, Kansas, at No. 8, St. Paul, Minnesota, at No. 9, and Portland, Oregon, at No. 10.
