It may only be April, but a few of music’s biggest stars—Ed Sheeran, ROSÉ of BLACKPINK, and Snoop Dogg, among others—have already made such a significant impact this year that TIME100 has included them in its list of the Most Influential People of 2025.
The list, announced Wednesday, April 16, honors a range of celebrities, including the “Shape of You” singer, the K-pop superstar, and the hip-hop legend. TIME100 annually celebrates individuals who are “transforming the world,” including artists, icons, world leaders, industry titans, pioneers, and innovators. This year’s list also features Hozier and Nicole Scherzinger, as well as actors like Adam Scott, Rashida Jones, Kristen Bell, Demi Moore, Adrien Brody, and Blake Lively.
The 2025 list also includes athletes Serena Williams, Simone Biles, and Jalen Hurts, along with political figures such as President Donald Trump, Vice President J.D. Vance, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., and Elon Musk. Each honoree is accompanied by a personal tribute written by a colleague. Shaboozey, Alicia Keys, and Becky G wrote tributes for singer-songwriter Myles Smith, artist Mickalene Thomas, and designer Willy Chavarria, respectively.
Chris Hemsworth penned Sheeran’s tribute, praising the four-time Grammy winner’s ability to connect with audiences and describing him as “one of the most kindhearted, down-to-earth people.” Lily Collins shared her experience meeting ROSÉ at a fashion show in Paris, calling her a “dynamic performer and songwriter,” while Noah Kahan expressed gratitude for Hozier’s music, stating, “Thank you, Hozier, for sharing your gift with us mere mortals.”
Hoda Kotb wrote about Snoop Dogg, saying, “Snoop Dogg once told me he’s a ‘moment’ type of guy, and if the moment’s right, he’ll grab it. The world’s warmest cool kid has been carpe diem-ing for more than three decades.”
The TIME100 list honors a total of 100 people. Last year’s honorees included Dua Lipa, 21 Savage, Burna Boy, Kylie Minogue, and Jack Antonoff as part of the 2024 Most Influential People list.
