Eminem, Flavor Flav, and Barry Sanders Team Up to Cheer on Lions

The Detroit Lions are aiming to make history by capturing their first Super Bowl title, with the NFL playoffs just around the corner. Ford Field was brimming with star power Sunday as Eminem, Flavor Flav, and Lions legend Barry Sanders were spotted during the Lions’ game against the Minnesota Vikings.

Flavor Flav, sporting a bedazzled Lions jersey and his signature clock necklace, posed for photos with Eminem and Sanders. “FLAVOR FLAV::: Kinda Slim,,, not at all Shady,,, LETZ GO @detroitlionsnfl,” Flav wrote on Instagram alongside a photo with the “Houdini” rapper. Eminem wore a gray T-shirt featuring Lions safety Brian Branch’s No. 32 jersey.

In another post featuring the trio, Flav captioned, “FLAVOR FLAV::: Name an NFL Team with a more iconic trio!” Sanders chimed in the comments, “Nice to see you fellas,” while Public Enemy co-founder Chuck D added a fire emoji to show his approval.

With Flav and Eminem in attendance, the Lions delivered an impressive 31-9 victory over the Vikings, clinching the NFC’s No. 1 seed for the first time in franchise history. The win capped off a stellar 2024 regular season and secured Detroit a bye during wildcard weekend.

The Lions are now positioned as NFC favorites heading into the playoffs. They will host the lowest-seeded NFC team remaining in the divisional round as they continue their quest to hoist the Lombardi Trophy.

Eminem, a lifelong Lions fan, has become a regular at Ford Field in recent years. Fans can expect to see him in the stands throughout January, cheering for his team as they pursue their first Super Bowl title.
