Falling In Reverse is celebrating a win today!
The band has offically achieved a 3x platinum certification for their 2019 single “Popular Monster”.
Ronnie Radke, the frontman of Falling In Reverse, took to his official TikTok to thank the fans (and some of the haters) for helping to bring the song to such an accomplishment.
He stated:
“What is up guys? I just got news that yesterday my song is certified platinum, three times. Three times platinum. Um, “Popular Monster”, uh just went platinum in the United States, which is literally extremely significant and important to the culture of our music, rock music and adjacent genres and everything. So just want to say from the bottom of my heart thank you very much. This is absolutely insane accomplishment.”
He finished up his message saying:
“Can’t believe that I’m even saying I’ll be a diamond artist in seven years. Me. The most hated on who gets hated on in 80 songs and you hate em all so much you exaggerate it.”
This achievement comes after a few rough patches for the band, including having to cancel the UK leg of their “Popular MonTour II Europe: World Domination” Tour, due to Radke being denied a visa to enter the country. The band was also removed from the upcoming Nova Rock festival in Austria due to Radke calling Austrian fans “vienna sausages” in an online rant.
