Former Bad Wolves frontman Tommy Vext cancels all upcoming shows for mental health reasons

Bad news for anyone hoping to catch Tommy Vext live!

The former Bad Wolves frontman has announced that he will be cancelling all upcoming shows to focus on his mental health.

Vext took to his social media to announce the cancelations, writing:

“To whom it may concern,

Due to circumstances beyond my control I will be forced to cancel the Texas dates in Dallas corpus austin and houston next weekend.

Personaly this is extremely disappointing considering the continuing series of events that caused the east coast dates to also be cancelled.

Addtionally after burying my father and several family members this year, it has een extremely difficult to remain optimistic and focused on music. On top of stuggling to process so much grief I have also gone back into intense therapy after witnessing my former partner’s second violent suicide attempt in my home,

Someties as men we spend so much of our energy trying to help save everyone spiritual that we wind up neglecting or own mental and spiritual health.

We can become more intensely frustrated with our own limitations seeing ourselves as failures for things we couldn’t fix. Things that often weren’t our responsibility to repair in the first place.

So now is the time for me to take a steo back to focus on healing my own health and well being. I have no dount the following months will lead to some of the best music I have ever mad in my career.

So please show me some grace for now and allow me to return bigger and better than ever )as one president once said to me.)”

Besides Tommy Vext’s solo shows, he has also been performing vocals for metal band Ill Nino.
