Lzzy Hale is the type of friend to have your back!
The Halestorm frontwoman sat down with Metal Hammer to talk about her experience with performing with Skid Row last summer, and left the door open to performing with the glam rock band in the future!
She stated:
“We left it like, ‘I can’t marry you, but we can totally have an affair sometime.’ If the guys ever send up the bat signal in a time of crisis, I’ll be there.”
Lzzy Hale was approached by Skid Row’s bassist Rachel Bolan after the band’s former vocalist Eric Gronwell was forced to depart from the band due to health reasons. Hale says that Bolan asked her at a birthday party “out of the blue” and asked if she would ever consider fronting Skid Row for a few shows.
Despite Hale’s performances drawing praise from big names like Jon Bon Jovi, the frontwoman decided to step back after her stummer stint with Skid Row due to her ongoing commitment to Haletstorm.
