Halle Bailey is very upset that her son was featured in a livestream without her knowledge. The 24-year-old actress recently expressed her discontent after discovering that her 9-month-old son, Halo, appeared in a YouTube video by Kai Cenat. Bailey shares Halo with her former boyfriend, DDG, whose real name is Darryl Dwayne Granberry Jr. During the November 6th broadcast of Cenat’s “Mafiathon 2” Twitch stream, DDG, 27, introduced Halo on screen. Cenat, 22, later edited this segment of the livestream featuring DDG and Halo and uploaded it to his YouTube channel.
Bailey expressed her frustration on social media, saying, “I wasn’t told or notified and I am extremely upset to have my baby in front of millions of people.” She added that as Halo’s mother and protector, she was saddened not to have been informed, especially since she was out of town at the time. Recently, the singer revealed that she experiences “crippling anxiety” when she has to travel for work without Halo. On October 15, she shared some photos on Snapchat, writing, “Flying tonight to be somewhere for one day but having crippling anxiety without my son.” She also asked for advice from other mothers who struggle with leaving their children for work.
Bailey and DDG were last seen together at the 55th NAACP Image Awards on March 16, 2024, in Los Angeles, California. However, the couple announced their separation in early October. DDG posted a statement on October 3 on his Instagram Stories, saying, “Dear friends and supporters, After much reflection and heartfelt conversations, Halle and I have decided to go our separate ways.” He acknowledged that the decision was difficult but felt it was the best course of action for both of them. Despite the breakup, DDG emphasized that their love for each other remains strong and that they are still best friends who care deeply for one another. He concluded by stating that they would focus on their individual paths and co-parenting roles, cherishing the bond and beautiful moments they have shared.
