Recently, Hillary Scott, known for her role in the country music band Lady A, broke her social media silence with exciting news—she is expecting her fourth child.
Scott and her husband, Chris Tyrrell, are parents to three daughters: Eisele Kaye, who is 11 years old, and 7-year-old twins, Emory JoAnn and Betsy Mack. With the announcement of their latest addition, the couple is thrilled to welcome another girl into their family.
In a heartfelt social media post, Scott shared a black and white image featuring her daughters wearing “big sister” bracelets next to a bin labeled “maternity.” She expressed that this will be her last pregnancy.
She joyfully shared that the family is eagerly anticipating the arrival of their new daughter, stating that she is ready to bring out the maternity bin one final time.
The musician conveyed her excitement about expanding their family and shared her gratitude for having a home full of daughters. She also praised her husband for being an exceptional father to their girls.
The couple first met during college but only began dating after reconnecting in 2010 while on tour with Tim McGraw. At the time, Lady A was part of the tour, and Tyrrell was playing drums for Love & Theft, the opening act. Their relationship blossomed, leading to Tyrrell proposing on July 4, 2011. They married on January 7, 2012, in a private ceremony in upstate New York.
Their family journey began in 2013 with the birth of Eisele Kaye. The twins followed on January 29, 2018. However, they encountered heartbreak in 2015 with a miscarriage. Scott found solace in music, recording the song “Thy Will,” which went on to receive a GRAMMY nomination.
Music remains integral to their lives, and their daughters are beginning to embrace it too. Scott’s oldest daughter, Eisele, showcased her vocal talents by collaborating with her parents on the holiday song “Hard To Wait For Christmas.”
Last year, Hillary Scott and her Lady A bandmates embarked on the Request Line Tour, delighting fans across the nation. While they have three dates scheduled for 2025, further announcements regarding new music have yet to be made.
