Kendrick Lamar’s solo effort, “TV Off,” returns to number 10 this week. The track critiques modern society’s overreliance on technology, urging listeners to disconnect and engage with the world around them.

Benson Boone’s “Beautiful Things” enters the top ten at number 9. The song’s uplifting message and Boone’s emotive vocal performance have garnered critical acclaim and a growing fanbase.

Teddy Swims’ “Lose Control” moves down from 6 to 8 this week. The soulful track has maintained its popularity, remaining on the chart for an impressive 41 weeks, a testament to its enduring resonance with listeners.

“Timeless” has The Weeknd reentering the 10 this week, moving from 18 to 7. The track’s nostalgic vibe and smooth production have resonated with both longtime fans and new listeners alike.

“APT.,” a collaboration between BLACKPINK’s ROSÉ and Bruno Mars, moves from 3 to 5. This track has achieved international acclaim, amassing over a billion views on YouTube within three months of its release. Interestingly, Bruno Mars has two songs in the top five this week, highlighting his versatility and widespread appeal.

Shaboozey’s “A Bar Song (Tipsy)” stays at number five. The catchy tune has become a viral sensation, particularly on social media platforms, contributing to its rapid ascent on the charts.

Billie Eilish’s “Birds of a Feather” rises to the fourth position. The song, characterized by its ethereal sound and introspective lyrics, has dominated the Hot Rock & Alternative Songs chart for 25 consecutive weeks, showcasing Eilish’s continued influence in the alternative genre.

“Luther,” a collaboration between Kendrick Lamar and SZA, swaps the 4 spot for three this week. The track pays homage to the late civil rights leader Martin Luther King Jr. and soul legend Luther Vandross, blending poignant lyrics with soulful melodies.

Country artist Morgan Wallen secures the second spot with his latest single “I’m The Problem,” a reflective track addressing personal accountability. This song continues Wallen’s streak of chart-topping hits, resonating with fans for its introspective lyrics and heartfelt delivery.

Finally, returning for a 5th week at the top is “Die With a Smile,” a poignant duet by Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars. Released on August 16, 2024, the song explores themes of love and mortality, reminiscent of Gaga’s earlier hit “Shallow.” The collaboration was born from a spontaneous studio session, where the duo completed writing and recording the track in a single night. The accompanying music video features a ’70s-inspired aesthetic, with Mars on guitar and Gaga at the piano. Notably, this track marks Gaga’s return to her avant-garde style, encouraged by her fiancé, Michael Polansky. “Die With a Smile” has achieved significant commercial success, topping charts in over 20 countries and earning nominations in two Grammy categories.
