It’s not always that I give you a preview of what’s ahead on the Hot 10, but we have something historic set for next week. Off the surprise release of Kendrick Lamar’s “gnx” album, almost all the songs off it are in the Billboard Hot 100 survey dated for the week of 12/07. 7 of which in the top 10!
Lamar is not the only one to capture a majority of the top 10. We have to start by going back to 2021 with Drake’s “Certified Lover Boy” album that captured 9 spots, including the number one hit Way 2 Sexy. But that’s not all.
Taylor Swift’s 2022 album “Midnights” captured every single spot in the Top 10. Featuring the number one song for nearly 8 weeks, Anti-Hero.
So where are these songs in the rankings? Will “gnx” capture all ten spots by the end of the year? Does Shaboozey or Mariah have the strength to be number one? We’ll all find out together on the Hot 10 Countdown. Next Monday at 9am on Hot Hits 95.3.
