J-Hope Announces 2025 Solo Tour, Teases New Music Release

J-Hope, the 30-year-old K-pop star whose real name is Jung Ho-seok, announced his 2025 “Hope on the Stage” solo world tour and teased new music in a video shared from a Los Angeles recording studio. The artist captioned the Instagram clip, “New music on the way. 2025.03.”

The release will mark J-Hope’s first music since completing his mandatory military service on Oct. 17, 2024, after 18 months of service. It follows his 2024 EP Hope on the Street Vol. 1.

For his upcoming project, J-Hope enlisted BTS bandmate Jungkook, LE SSERAFIM’s Huh Yunjin, Bad Bunny, and Nile Rodgers. The six-track collection will be accompanied by a six-part docuseries chronicling his dance journey, with stops in Osaka, Paris, New York, Seoul, and Gwangju.

The “Hope on the Stage” tour will kick off with three shows at Seoul’s KSPO Dome on Feb. 28, March 1, and March 2. The tour will include stops in North America and Asia, concluding on June 1 in Osaka, Japan. Due to ongoing wildfires in Los Angeles, additional dates will be announced later.

Meanwhile, BTS — comprising RM, 30, Suga, 31, Jin, 32, V, 29, Jimin, 29, and Jungkook, 27 — plans to reunite in 2025. The group announced during their 2022 FESTA dinner that they would focus on solo projects and military service. In 2023, RM confirmed, “We’ll be joining together again. And that will be in 2025.”
