Jamie Foxx is recovering after an incident at a restaurant during his birthday dinner on Friday left him with injuries. A spokesperson for Foxx stated that he was at his birthday dinner when someone from another table threw a glass that hit him in the mouth, resulting in him needing stitches. The police were called, and the matter is now in law enforcement’s hands. The Beverly Hills Police Department responded to a reported possible assault with a deadly weapon at Mr. Chow restaurant. However, their investigation determined that the assault with a deadly weapon was unfounded and instead involved a physical altercation between parties. No arrests were made.
This incident occurs shortly after Jamie Foxx discussed his health struggles from the previous year in a Netflix special titled “Jamie Foxx: What Had Happened Was.” In the special, Foxx revealed he had a brain bleed that led to a stroke during a medical emergency. He described having a bad headache on April 11 and how he quickly lost consciousness. Foxx does not remember the following 20 days. He credited his sister for driving him to a hospital in Atlanta, where he was diagnosed with a brain bleed and informed he would need an operation to survive. After the surgery, doctors indicated he might make a full recovery, although it would be a challenging year.
Foxx expressed gratitude to his supporters on social media, emphasizing his resilience in the face of difficulties.
