This marks the 21st edition of the mix, which continues to offer a comprehensive narrative of the genre’s progression. The 2024 collection features 113 carefully selected tracks, commencing with a powerful introduction by Moby. His narration invites listeners to immerse themselves in the genre’s transformative essence.
Throughout the mix, Armin van Buuren’s own creations are prominently featured, including the “Club Mix” of his collaboration with Goodboys, “Forever (Stay Like This).” This version transforms the radio-friendly original into a symphonic piece with dynamic synths that fit the trance framework perfectly. Notable tracks include Ben Gold’s energizing “Diving Faces,” which exudes a euphoric vibe, and the Kolonie remix of Paul van Dyk’s classic “For An Angel,” offering a fresh take on a beloved anthem.
