Kandi Burruss Faces $200K Legal Battle Over Atlanta Restaurant Rent Dispute

Kandi Burruss, a well-known figure from “The Real Housewives of Atlanta,” is currently embroiled in a legal dispute concerning her Blaze Steak & Seafood restaurant located on Cascade Road in southwest Atlanta. The lawsuit was filed by Montego Pacific Incorporated in Fulton County and alleges that Burruss and the restaurant owe over $200,000 in unpaid rent and additional costs. This includes more than $154,000 in back rent and $56,000 for property repairs, along with a 10% overhead fee. The legal action stipulates a 10-day period for the payment to be made.

Blaze Steak & Seafood, which Burruss launched in 2020 alongside her husband Todd Tucker, faces uncertainty regarding its operational status. While the restaurant’s website indicates it is open only from Friday to Sunday, the lack of recent updates on its social media platforms and the unavailability of reservations cast doubt on its current activity.
