Kiss Announces Unmasked Comeback Performance in Las Vegas for 50th Anniversary Event

Legendary rock band Kiss has announced an “unmasked” live performance at The Theater at Virgin Hotels in Las Vegas as part of their 50th anniversary event, “Kiss Army Storms Vegas,” from November 14-16. The show is set for November 15 and marks their first live performance since the “End of the Road Tour” concluded at Madison Square Garden in December 2023. This event is a significant comeback following their previous farewell announcement 15 months ago.

The announcement was made through an email from Kissonline.com, with ticket presales for fans starting on April 2, and general public sales on April 7. Fans can also book rooms and related events through the same website. Additional event details are expected to be revealed soon.

The current lineup of Kiss includes Paul Stanley, Gene Simmons, Tommy Thayer, and Eric Singer, with Thayer and Singer residing in Las Vegas. The city also houses the Kiss World exhibit at the Rio, featuring memorabilia donated by Simmons.

Previously, Kiss performed without their iconic makeup from 1983 to 1996. A planned residency at Planet Hollywood’s Zappos Theater from December 2021 to February 2022 was canceled. Gene Simmons had also briefly owned property in Henderson’s Ascaya community before selling it due to concerns over summer temperatures.

Before this live show announcement, Kiss intended to appear as virtual avatars in collaboration with Industrial Light & Magic and Pophouse Entertainment Group, though details on this project remain undisclosed.
