Lady Gaga’s unreleased song “Garden of Eden” has been chosen as the theme for the 2025 Formula One racing season, ESPN announced Wednesday. The track will debut in full on Friday, March 7, as part of Gaga’s upcoming album, “Mayhem.”
ESPN shared a video montage on Instagram featuring top drivers and race cars, captioned, “Introducing @espnf1’s anthem for the 2025 season, ‘Garden of Eden’ by the one and only @ladygaga.” The video included a preview of the song, which is third on the “Mayhem” tracklist. In the track, Gaga sings, “Go get your friends and meet me on the floor,” over a dance beat and synths.
The 2025 F1 season begins March 14 with the Louis Vuitton Grand Prix in Australia.
“Garden of Eden” is the latest preview of Gaga’s “Mayhem” album. The album follows singles like “Die With a Smile,” a duet with Bruno Mars that topped the Billboard Hot 100 for five weeks, “Disease,” and “Abracadabra.” In December, Gaga described the album to The Los Angeles Times as “properly pop” but genre-defying.
This announcement comes shortly after Gaga revealed plans for a ¡Viva La Mayhem! concert in Mexico City in April, followed by a performance in Rio de Janeiro. She is also set to headline Coachella 2025.
