Las Vegas Secures $8.5 Million Jersey Patch Deal with Athletics

The Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority has entered into a significant three-year jersey patch agreement with the Athletics, valued at $8.5 million. The deal includes placing a “Las Vegas” patch on the sleeves of the Athletics’ jerseys during games. The financial breakdown of the contract starts at $2.5 million for the current year, increasing to $2.75 million in 2026, and reaching $3 million in 2027.

This initiative is part of the authority’s broader marketing strategy, which is funded by hotel room taxes in Clark County. Among its notable investments is a 20-year, $80 million naming rights agreement for the Las Vegas Ballpark in Summerlin, established in 2017. The new jersey patch deal will feature prominently during all regular season and potential postseason games as the Athletics continue to play in Sacramento for the upcoming three MLB seasons.
