Living Out the Answer: Sharing Jesus with Love and Grace

If you know Jesus, you know He is the answer. But knowing the answer doesn’t always mean knowing the best way to share it.

Sharing our faith can sometimes feel awkward, and too often, we approach it in ways that leave everyone feeling frustrated. However, through the gift of the Holy Spirit and a deep relationship with Jesus, we can lead with love. By doing so, we reflect the truth that Jesus is the answer—not just in words but in the way we live. While only Jesus can rescue and transform lives, we have the privilege of being connectors, guiding people toward Him.

We who follow Christ understand that, on our own, we are not strong enough to love and accept others unconditionally. We aren’t naturally equipped to honor and respect those who differ from us, especially when their views challenge our own. Left to ourselves, we will never reach a level of maturity where we can fully extend mercy and grace.

By default, we often use less-than-effective strategies when sharing Jesus with the world. Countless people remain distant from Him, burdened by their struggles and searching for answers. Simply telling them that “Jesus is the answer” may not be enough; instead, they need to see Him in us.

The most powerful way to reach people is through relationships—being present in their lives, meeting them where they are, and shining His light. When we embody the principles and character of Jesus, people become more open to discovering the truth of who He is. Genuine connections pave the way for hearts to be transformed.

When we invest in relationships first, trust is built, and through that trust, the journey toward Jesus can begin. And let’s be real—who would turn down a gift so profoundly good once they truly experience it? But before they can embrace Jesus, they must first encounter Him through us.

So let’s live, love, and serve like Jesus. Let’s be His hands and feet, reflecting His grace in such a way that those who don’t yet know Him will want to.

Telling people that Jesus is the answer is good. But being Jesus to them—that’s what truly opens their hearts to the truth.
